Okay guys, with matches beginning we're gonna run over a few ground rules as a refresher before the official rules are updated on the site. To Create a clan: Use the Create Team link on the menu to the left. Once done you can either invite members to your team by their site username, or have them signup and then use the password you made during creation to join. This is done in the My Teams menu, then click on the clan name, and finally to the roster tab to find the button at the bottom. To Join an event: Click on My teams again, and then the clan name. Then goto the Events tab, and at the bottom you will see a drop box where you select the event name and hit the join button. You can also see your match records here as well. View Schedules: Click on the Events link in the left menu, and then click on the current Event Name (which is currently Pre Season) and you will see below the shortened leaderboard a schedule of upcoming matches. You will also see a button for viewing the full standings board. Everyone should see a current schedule now. The thoughts on preseason have changed slightly. As long as everything goes well, we are looking at this being the only preseason week. So the due date for this match is going to be January 4th(Not this Sunday, but next) The reason for this is that there are a few new teams just coming into the event that will not be able to complete a match on such short notice. But you are welcome to get your match done early if you want. And as the rules state, Sunday @9pm EST is only the default time, and final time to get the match done, but you may work with the other team to schedule the match for during that week if you so wish to do so (That is why a match week begins that Monday and is to be submitted by the following Sunday by midnight. For the preseason week, any map will do as long as both clans agree to it. This is because there are problems with the maps due to a Steam update. so whatever map you guys can agree on and the timer works will be okay. Matches are to be 15 minutes, with a 5 minute prematch for everyone to get connected and coordinateed. This is also a good time to get demos started and so forth. Basic rules apply here guys. No Cheating, No glitching, and No exploits. If you are caught doing so your team forfeits the match. Keep global chat to a minimum, only team leaders should really be using this. If a player becomes rude, disrespectful, or otherwise disrupts play they may be removed from the game and their score be deducted from that team. We are going with 4 vs 4, and the team with the most points wins the round. Matches are best 2 out of 3 rounds. Here is the first schedule as posted on the Event. N$c vs hac SS vs crosshair Xeno vs HRC We wanted more than 6 teams, but I think the other guys are just gonna cut it too close to make a match. We will have an official maplist, config, and ruleset up by next weekend. There are currently only 7 seven teams with enough members registered to their team WITH Steam IDs. We would like an even 8 teams for the season, so if you guys could these last couple clans moving that would be awesome. Thanks.
