Quick update

Just a quick little update for you guys here.

As you all know Pre-season is over. We've seen what is being done, and what needs to change. We have decided that we need to sit back a little bit and let the TF2 community grow and develop. In the meantime we can focus on getting more maps and do some advertising for the league.

I've been doing some work on the website and will continue to do so. I'm trying to make it run as nicely as possible, so that means cutting a few non-essential things like the ShoutBox and some graphics. Hopefully this will mean good things.

Stay Tuned guys. Hopefully we have some good things to come.

X-Ray

We have decided that we will be moving ahead with X-Ray Anti-Cheat. It is a client side AC, so everyone will need to goto http://www.xraygaming.com/ and signup and get the client.
We are currently hopefully awaiting the TF2 release of Detox, but for now we will be sticking with X-Ray.

Aside from this, some servers may also be running SteamBans and SourceTV.
We will also continue the demo/screenshot requirements from last season.
All players must record a demo of each round, take screenshots with models of both teams showing, and keep all of this for 2 weeks after each match in case of a dispute.(This is all in the Rules section)

News!

Hey guys, It's me again!
Some points of interest in the site I would like to point out. We have added a few new files(See the Downloads section), a new IRC channel(info and quick channel access in Chat section), a wonder server list compiling all the sniper servers we play on in TF2, FF, and TFC(See the Servers section), and the new League store to help fund the league in a 2nd way(See the Link right above the News, or you can use the old Donations method on the right side of the page still).

Some exciting movement going on in the community, lots of old faces are returning and we are gearing up to get a start on this. We are straightening out some details, and we should be good to go.
We will be going to launch a Pre-Season in the middle-end of January 2008, to test out match play and just all around see how things run. So if you and your clan are interested, get out in those servers and recruit us up some new guys. We'll never get anywhere if you guys stay shy and stay in same 3 clans all the time. ;-)

We're getting our staff ready for the season now. We may begin a pre-season next month to help us settle in, get clans established, attract more new players, and maintain interest.

A lot of work is going into the site right so bear with us. If you experience any down time or weird times where not much is accessible, just wait a few minutes and it should be back to normal.

TF2 Time

So long no update!! Well FF and TF2 have both well launched now. FF has stayed small, but TF2 has had a very successful launch and we will be getting ready to make our move into TF2 now.
For you FF fans, this does not mean the end, there just isn't enough potential there for it to be our main game. We may host small events here and there on FF as well if the interest is there.

We've had a very exciting couple of weeks here with a lot of old names poppin back in.
So everyone stay tuned cuz things are happening around here now, and I will be posting periodical updates again now as things happen. I will be doing a lot of work on the site, and we are working out plans for getting a server up as well.

We will also be looking to be getting staff worked out soon.

Top20 is Open for Business

Well I think it's safe to say we pretty much got everyone we're going to, and people can always sign up late.

Basically when you challenge someone(Goto your team from panel, click matches, Start new Challenge), it emails them with your map/time choices and they accept or decline. It may be wise to try and get with people before you make the official challenge as not to waste time waiting for an accept if you could just challenge someone else faster. You can only challenge 3 spots ahead.
The most poular times around here seem to be Sunday-Thirsday at 10 est, so keep that in mind as well. You have one week to accept a challenge or you lose. A few weeks of inactivity and I remove you from the ladder. Winner reports the match.
